What We Do
Comprising members from financial institutions, real economy corporates, enablers, NGOs, IHLs, policymakers, industry bodies, networks and various other organisations, SSFA will focus on:
- Driving and shaping policy and regulatory developments, including development of industry best practices and guidance
- Strengthening outreach and engagements within the financial sector, and with real economy sector and government agencies
- Deepening capacity building
- Fostering international collaboration
Communities of Practice (CoPs)
SSFA’s Communities of Practice (CoPs) bring together like-minded industry participants to deepen collaboration, facilitate learning and advance collaboration across the industry.
There are six CoPs:
- Carbon Markets
- Transition Finance
- Impact and Blended Finance
- Natural Capital and Biodiversity (NCB)
- Taxonomy
- Adaptation and Resilience (A&R)
Role of CoPs:
- The CoPs act as SSFA’s primary channel for knowledge sharing, capacity building, and ecosystem engagement.
- Provide a feedback loop between the community and SSFA’s projects and initiatives, helping identify emerging trends, challenges, and new areas of focus.
- Serve as a sounding board for SSFA’s work, ensuring industry relevance and practical application.
Each CoP is led by one or two Champions – industry subject-matter experts who help guide discussions and activities within the theme.
